This time around, the goal was to get from the Williamsburg Bridge to the Holland Tunnel. It involved cutting across two major intersections (Bowery and Broadway – really, though, every intersection in the Lower East Side is a nightmare to cross), and two heavily-touristy neighborhoods (Little Italy and SoHo – really, though, every neighborhood yadda yadda you get the point). Joining me in this endeavor were a billion cars and trucks, coming from multiple directions, trying to cram ourselves into a two-lane tunnel. And our reward for getting through all this: New Jersey. Life is cruel.
Once again, this post-work jaunt took about 45 minutes. And once again, I used my camera to maintain my sanity. Enjoy.
